Sofacompany is a young company, that started out in 2012 by designing, manufacturing and selling beautiful quality Danish sofas and furniture. Today we have more than 20 own showrooms in several countries. On top of that we deliver furniture all over the world with the help of our dedicated global team of sofa enthusiasts.

In 2012 Sofacompany set out to challenge the furniture industry by creating high quality design at honest prices. This was and continues to be our mission in everything we do. We handle all steps in the process and deliver our products directly from our factory. That way our concept removes any non-value-adding links from the supply chain - and the savings are considerable. Just like the sofa is a crucial part of our company’s DNA, it is also an invaluable asset to any home.

It offers us a relief from our busy lives when we lounge, chat with our loved ones or curl up with a good book. In recent years the sofa has also become the ideal piece for offices and public spaces, creating a warm and more informal atmosphere wherever it goes. With today’s job market becoming increasingly flexible and multi-facetted, hard work is often combined with changing settings and soft seating. And we can definitely help you with that.

At Sofacompany Professional our core values remain the same as always. We still believe that high quality design should be available at honest prices. Now, our concept is tailored to match all of the other professional requirements too.

Naturally there’s a big difference between making furniture for domestic and commercial use. That is why we created Sofacompany Professional based on our successful concept but with a few important twists. Our commercial use furniture complies to all contract requirements such as durability and fire safety standards. Furthermore we are able to offer even more flexibility. Owning the whole furniture production chain makes us so agile that aside from our standard furniture collection (using contract grade fabrics of course), we can offer customised solutions, as well as the possibility for our customers to design their own furniture.

One great benefit of owning the whole production and distribution chain is that we truly know our products and the people who make them. In Vietnam we employ several hundred skilled craftsmen dedicated to making every piece as solid as the next. With clever hands and keen eyes they put care into every little detail.

Another benefit of our business model is that we are highly flexible in terms of design and lead times. This means that we can easily cater to any special needs and custom orders placed by our customers.

Starting out with just a few sofas, we now have a standard collection offering chairs, tables, footrests and shelves too. Classic pieces with ontrend detailing and accessories, created by young as well as established furniture designers.

This collection can be customised with a wide array of fabrics, buttons and legs, all reflecting the latest trends in interior design.

If you need a more tailormade solution, we also offer the possibility of putting your own designs into production. Our in-house design team will make sure that your vision is carried out to everyone's satisfaction. Therefore they will support you through the whole process, from the initial brief to the final product.

Quality for a Lifetime

We take great pride in the quality of our furniture. From the wood in our frames to the filling and fabrics that add bounce and texture to the final product.

Our frames are made from solid pinewood and built to last a lifetime. So much so that we offer a lifetime warranty on them. The filling used is highresilience foam chosen for its durability, quality and seating comfort. The fabrics are all contract grade and sourced from selected mills as well as from internationally renowned fabric brands and suppliers.

Giving back matters

When dealing with people or nature, we believe in a fair exchange. This means that when we buy wood, we make sure it is FSC-certified. Or when we make furniture, we do so as a member of Association of Danish Wood And Furniture Industries and a supporter of the UN Global Compact. We are also convinced that one of the best things we can do for our environment is to make furniture that lasts. That is why we make frames that come with a lifetime warranty.

By collaborating with some of the most forwardthinking textile companies in the world, we are also able to offer beautiful textiles made from recycled materials such as postconsumer plastic bottles and plastic recovered from the ocean.

However, what really makes us proud is being able to give back to the community in Vietnam, where our furniture is made by highly skilled craftsmen. There we support a number of local orphanages, giving them a helping hand with necessities such as food, school supplies and health insurance. This way, the children have a better chance at an education and a life that rises above their humble beginnings.
